“Achha Kiya Insurance Liya,” an insurance awareness initiative by the General Insurance Council (GIC) of India was launched through a nationwide print, outdoor & television campaign.
A highly engaging television commercial was released across GEC’s (general entertainment channels), OTT platforms & social media which also featured well-known filmmaker-actor Rahul Mittra as Jayesh Bhai who escapes unhurt while a cricket bat smashes his car’s windscreen. He smilingly accepts his fate as he’s already taken motor insurance. This was followed by print advertisements in leading national daily newspapers highlighting the fact that more than 60 crore Indians say in their difficult times ‘Achha Kiya Insurance Liya’.
In order to build a financially secure India, The General Insurance Council has launched this powerful, relatable initiative that highlights the importance of General Insurance and how it preserves hard-earned savings during emergencies, accidents, and unforeseen circumstances. Covering everything from motor and health to home, travel, and crop insurance, the campaign bursts common myths, highlights key benefits, and educates people on how to purchase policies and raise claims.
