Comedy Central welcomes the New Year with the hilarious American sitcom, ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’. The show premiered on January 7, 2013 and will air Monday to Friday at 11PM.

The show is based on the real-life experiences of the lead protagonist – Ray Romano’s standup routine, the producer - Phil Rosenthal and the show’s writing staff. It is a classic sitcom that has stayed relevant and tickled the funny bones of the audiences, globally.

The series follows the relationship between three close-knit generations and revolves around the central character Raymond Barone, an easy, happy-go-lucky guy who is a newspaper sports writer from New York. Married to Debra and father of three – Ally and twin sons Michael and Geoffrey, he takes life with a pinch of salt. Raymond’s parents, Marie and Frank, and older brother Robert live across the street and frequently make their presence known to the frustration of Raymond and Debra.

‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ has won accolades 51 times at various award functions, including the Emmy Awards and Screen Actors Guild. It has also been nominated twice at the Golden Globe Awards and an additional 129 nominations at various other awards.
