Why so serious?

December 1 - Day With(out) Art

As per the World Health Organization (WHO), 777,000 people died of HIV-related causes in 2018. There’ll be at least 500,000 new cases and deaths per year by 2020. We need more awareness.

Day With(out) Art, started by Visual AIDS, is a day you’ll find museums, galleries & artists shutting their shop and covering their objects & artifacts.

What, after all, is art, if it’s not for showing solidarity for a cause, or making a statement?

Watch the series of videos commissioned by Visual AIDS to highlight the issue: https://vimeo.com/showcase/3139847

Thought-provoking, moving, taking beyond the statistics.

But there’s a twist. The homeless don’t have a home. But about 70% of them do have a cell phone!

Our calling organization has an app that enables you to help the homeless. Eventually, this app will also help the homeless to reserve a bed at a shelter with their phone, just like Airbnb.
