Akshay Bardapurkar, Founder, Planet Marathi OTT has reportedly send a legal notice seeking Rs 10 crore in compensation and an apology from actor Aayush Shah, days after the latter filed a complaint stating that his cheques amounting to over Rs 1 crore were dishonoured.
Bardapurkar has reportedly sent a legal notice to the actor, accusing the plaintiff of levelling false allegations against him and smearing his reputation.
He reportedly alleged that Shah himself filled in the details on a blank signed cheque and deposited them to slap a false case on Bardapurkar.
Shah and his business partner filed the complaint before a magistrate court this month, alleging that nine signed cheques issued by Bardapurkar, amounting to Rs 1,14,30,400 were dishonoured upon presentation.
