Flipkart-backed payment app Super.money has reportedly acquired BharatX, a fintech startup and an embedded consumer credit company.

The Bengaluru-based app has been acquired by Super.money to strengthen its credit offerings, according to a media report.

The report noted that the acquisition is in line with Super.money’s goal of making financial services accessible by offering simple, flexible and paperwork-free credit options.

The startup was founded in 2020 by Mehul Jindal, Shyam Murugan, Eeshan Sharma and Shiddharth Venu.

The deal reportedly does not involve a full acquisition of BharatX due to its credit-related liabilities.
