The allure of wildlife photography, whipping up a mean local mutton dish and prioritising time for his kids is everything that helps Swaroop Banerjee, CEO of Event Capital (a part of Laqshya Media Group company) to unplug on weekends. Banerjee also loves losing himself in a compelling book and sipping exotic Blue Mountain Black Coffee. His weekdays might be filled to the brim but it doesn’t deter the CEO from planning adventures and packing some ‘me-time’ into his busy schedule. In this week’s Chillout, he reveals to us what helps him discover weekend nirvana. Read on:

On a typical weekend you will find me...
Cooking meals for my kids and taking them outdoors.

My idea of relaxing is...
Riding my Desert Storm till the sun sets.

  I cannot do without...
Blue Mountain Black Coffee.

I love an adventure...
I grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. Wildlife photography is my adventure shot thrice a year in the forests of India.

I confess, I am a....
Voracious reader.

The last show I binge watched...
Black List. And James Spader (Black List) means more to me than Marlon Brando.

I can make a mean...
Mutton Saoji, a tribal Nagpur village dish.

A skill/hobby I want to learn this year...
Speaking a South Indian language.

My next vacation will be...
Pench Tiger Reserve, next week.
