The campaign ‘Seven Layers of Truth’ for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, created by Famous Innovations, Mumbai, has earned two shortlists at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025 in the Craft category.

The campaign for ‘Ultrasound Envelopes’, has been recognised under the Design subcategory with shortlists in:

  • Design for Promotional Item/Promotional Printed Media

  • Design for Behavioural Change

The shortlists highlight the campaign’s creative approach to design in delivering impactful, purpose-driven communication for a civic body.

This recognition adds to India’s growing presence at the festival this year, as agencies continue to gain traction across categories for work that blends creativity with cultural and behavioural relevance.

Cannes Lions has announced the shortlists in the Craft, Entertainment, and select Engagement categories. The Craft category includes entries under Design, Digital Craft, Film Craft, and Industry Craft. The Entertainment category shortlists span all its subcategories, including Entertainment, Entertainment Lions for Gaming, Entertainment Lions for Music, and Entertainment Lions for Sport. Meanwhile, four subcategories from Engagement have been revealed so far: Direct, Media, PR, and Social & Creator.

The Cannes Lions Awards Shows will take place from Monday, June 16 to Friday, June 20, 2025, with more shortlists across remaining categories expected to be announced in the coming days.
