Tony Harris takes over as CEO of BBDO Hong Kong 

Harris was earlier CEO of BBDO Japan; move follows the exit of J C Catibog, Managing Director at BBDO South China

Tony Harris has moved out of BBDO Japan to assume the role of CEO at the agency’s Hong Kong office, as per media reports.  

He will now be responsible for handling the Visa business in Asia. 

This appointment comes after the exit of J C Catibog who was Managing Director at BBDO South China.
BBDO Asia Chairman and CEO Jean-Paul Burge has been quoted in media reports as saying: “Tony is a proven agency leader; one who combines creativity with business acumen. 

“As a leader of multiple award-winning creative agencies, his focus has always been about great creative thinking as this leads to impressive business results, and he surrounds himself with the very best people to help drive that agenda. I have no doubt this will prove true in Hong Kong.” 
On his appointment, Harris was quoted saying: “My time in Tokyo has been very fulfilling and I am delighted to leave behind a home-grown management team who can continue the development of BBDO Japan. I feel equally privileged to take on another leadership role within the BBDO network and continue the drive for Creativity and Effectiveness in a new and exciting territory.” 

Managing Director Hal Ito and General Manager Shuhei Ishikawa have been now given the charge of BBDO Japan.
