Peter Finn appointed to PR Trust Board of Trustees

Finn is founding managing partner of independent PR firm Finn Partners

The PR Trust has appointed Peter Finn, Founding Managing Partner of Finn Partners, one of the largest independent PR firms in the world, to its Board of Trustees.

“Finn is one of the most respected leaders in the communications industry today, and his global expertise in digital and integrated communications will be of great benefit to our mentorship programs in developing regions,” said Richard Tsang, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He added that Finn Partners represents a diverse range of talented professionals, with over $85 million in fees, 650 colleagues and 17 offices across three continents.

 The PR Trust provides young professionals with career opportunities through mentorships and education outreach programs that emphasise the role of communications in civil society. Finn Partners has been named Best New Agency, Best PR Agency to Work for in North America and Best Mid-Sized Agency of the Year three times.

“The PR Trust is undertaking important initiatives in global communications, and I am excited to see The PR Trust embrace mentoring approaches that take advantage of digital connectivity in the developing world,” said Finn, whose agency has garnered awards from The Holmes Report, PR News, and the Public Relations Society of America.

The PR Trust recently launched a global call for experienced industry mentors for its Mentor Program in Global Communications. The Global Communications Mentorship facilitates the personal and professional growth of young professionals in developing countries through relationship building with experienced industry mentors. The Program is designed for senior undergraduate and graduate students in any discipline who wish to pursue communications and public relations as a career.
