Narendra Kumar Alambara launches new venture-1400 Grams Brand Advisory

The focus will be to provide advisory and assistance in 3 core areas of Development and Management of the Client Brands- Planning, Communication, and Media

Narendra Kumar Alambara, former COO, Thanthi Group is back in action with his new venture 1400 grams Brand Advisory. 

Speaking to exchange4media about his new venture, Alambara said, “1400 Grams is a brand advisory catering to the growing needs of the small and young brands in the region. The focus of 1400 Grams is to provide advisory and assistance in 3 core areas of Development and Management of the Client Brands- Planning, Communication, and Media.” He continued, “Each of these cores can and will have multiple task-orientations – that will be fulfilled either as an Advisory or as a Deliverable (in conjunction with a specialist partner). The scope of services will include everything aspect of the brand building process including Market Planning and Potential Estimation, Consumer Research, Business Analysis, Product development, etc. apart from playing an active advisory role on partnership – research, creative, media, etc.”

Furthermore, 1400 Grams Brand Advisory will focus on crafting bespoke communication elements (based on consumer insights and media opportunities) in partnership with creative agencies. Helping to build assets for the brand on media, the core will be the implementation of the brand messaging on media – media planning, negotiations, advisory/audit, among others.

Explaining more about the brand's name, Alambara said, “1400 Grams refers to the weight of an adult brain and presents immense scope for an intriguing and interesting story-telling opportunity.”

“Having spent nearly 2 decades in advertising working with IPG, Havas and Publicis Groups honing Communication skills, the last few years with the Daily Thanthi Group helped me refine brand building and marketing skills. Over time, I have been able to straddle the data-driven, analytical approach to brand needs with holistic and multi-dimensional solutions,” he added.

Speaking about future plans he said, “Discussions are underway with brands based in Hyderabad and Kochi for development and expansion into Tamil Nadu”.

Narendra Kumar Alambara moved on from the Daily Thanthi Group after a six-year stint in October 2018.
