McDonald's India’s former Marketing Head Sagar Kargutkar takes up new role
Kargutkar has joined tech firm Vakrangee Ltd as Chief Marketing Officer

Sagar Kargutkar, Former Head of Marketing, Communications & Digital at McDonald's India has joined tech firm Vakrangee Ltd as Chief Marketing Officer.
It must be mentioned that Vakrangee is the unique technology driven company focused on building India's largest network of last-mile retail outlets to deliver real-time banking & Financial Services, ATM, insurance, e-governance, e-commerce and logistics services to the unserved rural, semi-urban and urban markets.
During his stint at McDonald's he was instrumental in launching McSaver, Rice Bowls, Scale for Good Food Campaigns along with McDonald's foray in Digital Marketing. He was recognized as the 50 Most Influential Digital Marketing Leaders of India by World Marketing Congress in 2018.
Prior to that he was the National Head of Marketing for The Times of India’s Metro Supplements for over 12 years wherein he was responsible for the financial health and marketing of the Times of India and its metro supplements.
Kargutkar has been a marketing and business professional for more than 15 years. An alumnus of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, he is a strategic marketing leader with an expertise in consumer & Digital marketing, Brand Strategy, new product launches, P&L management.
