Comscore has appointed Bill Livek as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman, according to reports. Livek, who was board Vice-Chairman, will be taking over from Dale Fuller who served as interim CEO.
Livek's appointment comes as Comscore reportedly seeks internal stability as the company witnessed several high profile exits in the past months and a loss of more than 85% of its share value since March. The company also recently settled a Securities and Exchange Commission fraud claim by agreeing to pay a $5 million fine after the company and former CEO Serge Matta, allegedly inflated revenue by approximately $50 million.
It is believed Livek will focus on television measurement as the company aims to strengthen its cross-platform offering.
Prior to joining Comscore, Livek served as Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at media measurement and research company, Rentrak, where he spearheaded the next generation of products to measure movies and TV.For more updates, be socially connected with us on
