Zee Bangla launches reality show for kids, ‘Star of Bengal’

Zee Bangla is on the lookout for the brightest child in West Bengal through its latest reality show ‘Star of Bengal’. The show goes on air from today at 9.30 pm. ‘Star of Bengal’ will be aired Thursday to Saturday in the 9.30 pm to 11 pm slot.

Zee Bangla launches reality show for kids, ‘Star of Bengal’

Zee Bangla is on the lookout for the brightest child in West Bengal through its latest reality show ‘Star of Bengal’. The show goes on air from August 7 at 9.30 pm. ‘Star of Bengal’ will be aired Thursday to Saturday in the 9.30 pm to 11 pm slot.

‘Star of Bengal’ will feature child participants in the 10-12 age-group. The kids will go through a number of competitive rounds, which would include dancing, singing, games and sports, and quizzes. The kids would be paired with their mothers to guide them through the various rounds.

Commenting on the new show, Rajib Chatterjee, Business Head, Zee Bangla, said, “This concept of mother and child reality show is unique and different in the entire Bengali television scenario. ‘Star of Bengal’ will not only provide a paramount opportunity for the kids, but also a grandiose platform to showcase their talents and brilliance. ‘Bindaas Bonding’ and ‘Dart’ are two segments that are new and unique. We promise a totally new fare in this show, like always.”

The show will be hosted by Tollywood film personality Jeet.
