Taking on-the-move advertising to the next level, Transroute Media Pvt. Ltd has launched an innovative way for brands to leverage-- rear windshield digital advertising.
Commenting on the ideation, Director of the company Onkar Vaidya, stated, “The CabAd Services Pvt LTD was established in 2018 by Milind Borgikar and Rushabh Shah. It all started in 2017 when Milind wanted to advertise his first tech start-up profile at one of the most prominent OOH locations in Pune. On learning about the staggering prices, he dropped the idea. Later, while looking at the fleet of cars, the idea took birth.”
This type of advertising will break the content clutter. In the times where marketers are looking for innovative ways to reach out to the consumers, there emerges a new mode of advertising by Transroute Media Pvt. Ltd. Brands can now be advertised on Full HD LED display on the rear windshield of cab. These LED screens on cabs will be playing the brand communication for 24 hours, giving the brand the right mileage by reaching out to customers on the move.
“This would definitely spark consumer interest due to the positioning of the product,” shared Vaidya.
CabAD & S&O have come together for their new venture Transroute Media. The company will have the exclusive rights to sell this new media to brands. The media in its first phase will go live from August 15, 2019 across Uber cabs in Mumbai and Delhi.
Commenting on the initiative, Vaidya said, “We have done an extensive study of the medium across the globe and found it to be extremely cost-effective in comparison to the reach and frequency. The opportunity to see (OTS) for a brand, is also very high due to the placement of the medium and heavy vehicular traffic on roads across India.”
CabAD is an innovation-driven company founded in 2018 with a team of creative individuals that strive to build cutting edge technology. One of its first ad-tech product is a Full HD LED display on the rear windshield of the cab to show an advertisement on a specific time or specific location.
