Titan celebrates spirit of fatherhood with digital film ‘Mere Papa’
The campaign created by Ogilvy Bangalore is live across Titan’s social media handles
On the occasion of Father's Day, Titan has launched a digital campaign ‘Mere Papa’. The digital film, created by Ogilvy Bangalore, is an ode to all father figures.
The film tells the story of a child and his relationship with his father from a first person point of view. It captures the father taking care of the child – playing, protecting and pampering with gifts. He takes care of the child and works tirelessly to make him feel happy and safe. Towards the end, the film reveals that the story was told from a pet’s perspective and showcases the beautiful relationship between the father and the pet child.
Sharing his thoughts on the campaign, Sirish Chandrashekar, Marketing Head, Titan Watches, said: “We wanted to widen the circle of fatherhood and celebrate all fathers who always put their child’s happiness ahead of their own and always make sure their loved ones feel happy and protected. This film celebrates the bond between a father and a child and expands the concept beyond the traditional definitions of human relationships.”
Speaking about the campaign, Mahesh Gharat, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy said: “Parenthood is a feeling that we feel towards our kids but sometimes it extends to our work or anyone we care about. A quirky yet relevant film with a very fresh perspective is the hallmark of Titan.”
