Strong Indian representation in Spikes Asia 2012 jury

Spikes Asia, the regional creative advertising and communications festival for Asia Pacific, has announced the jury members for Craft, Creative Effectiveness, Branded Content and Entertainment, and Integrated. This completes the announcement of the 10 juries, who will convene in Singapore to judge entries.

Spikes Asia will take place from September 16 to September 18 this year.

Commenting on the juries, Philip Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of Lions Festivals observed, “The launch of Creative Effectiveness, and Branded Content and Entertainment categories at Spikes Asia this year is an important development. We have got some highly regarded, key experts on these inaugural juries. They join an outstanding line-up of talent and we look forward to seeing which work these four juries decide to honour at this year’s awards.”

The India factor
This time round Manisha Tripathi, Managing Partner, SMG/Liquid Thread, India features in the Branded Content and Entertainment jury.

Announced earlier, the representatives from India in various juries include Jasmin Sohrabji, Managing Director, OMD, India and R Gowthaman, Chief Executive Officer, Mindshare S&SE Asia, Asia Pacific in the Media jury; Ashwini Desphande, Director, Elephant Strategy + Design, India in the jury for Design; Minakshi Achan, Co-Founder, Salt Brand Solutions, India in Direct, and Promo and Activation jury; Max Hegerman, Senior Vice President, Head of Digital, JWT, India in Digital and Mobile jury; and Ashish Chakravarty, Chief Creative Officer, McCann Worldgroup, India in Film, Print, Outdoor and Radio jury.
