Mallikarjun Das is expected to join Star India as a senior member of its sales and strategy team. Das is joining Star India from Starcom India where he was Group CEO for last seven years. Highly placed sources have hinted that Das will join by April.
Prior to joining Starcom in 2011, he worked with Madison Media Infinity. At Starcom, this was his second stint, after he had worked with the agency for two years from 2003-2005. He started off with Leo Burnett in 1997-2000. He has spent a few years on the brands' side with his associations with Asian Paints and Tata Interactive Services. However, neither Das or Star India confirmed or denied the news.
