In a visible sign of accelerated integration, Interpublic Group (IPG) on Tuesday updated its global homepage to reflect its merger with Omnicom, displaying a new visual identity that reads “Omnicom + IPG.”

The graphic is the first public-facing indication of how the holding company may present itself during the transition phase. The Omnicom website remains the same, as of the latest check.

Notably, the merged entity will operate under the Omnicom banner, with IPG gradually phasing out its standalone identity.

Industry observers say such a move typically signals the start of coordinated brand unification efforts ahead of structural announcements expected in key markets, including India.

The update comes a day after the European Commission granted unconditional approval for the merger, clearing the last regulatory hurdle for the all stock deal with Omnicom.

Soon after EU clearance, both the networks announced that they would close the deal by the end of Wednesday (tomorrow).

With integration frameworks now underway, stakeholders across agencies, clients, and holding-group leadership teams are watching closely for clues on how creative, media, and digital networks under both groups will be aligned.

Executives say website changes—though cosmetic at first glance—often mark the earliest stage of internal and external communication syncing across global markets. More substantive disclosures on structure, leadership alignment, and market-wise consolidation are expected in the coming weeks.
