"I am delighted to announce that CVL Srinivas will be taking over the WPP India Country Manager position from Ranjan Kapur, in addition to his responsibilities as head of GroupM in India. Ranjan will continue as Chairman of WPP India, helping Srini and focusing on his school's and foundation's initiatives, which have been extremely successful and were featured at our WPP Board Dinner last night in Delhi," he added.

"As you know, “horizontality” is our number one strategic objective and Srini’s additional role in India will be to ensure that we work together as effectively as possible to provide clients with effective and efficient solutions. I hope you will give him every support," said Sorrell.
