The Advertising Club (TAC) India recently hosted the 24th edition of the Effie India Awards 2024. Among the key highlights, Mondelez India Foods was honoured as the Effie Client of the Year, while Ogilvy Group India took home the title of Effie Agency of the Year. The prestigious Grand Effie went to Leo Burnett India for their impactful campaign for ACKO General Insurance.

Partha Sinha, President and Chief Brand Officer at Bennett Coleman & Company Limited, a distinguished figure in the advertising and media industry, when asked about the Awards, had something very insightful to say.

Reflecting on the Effie Awards, Sinha remarked, "Effies is not a celebration of effectiveness but a celebration of noise. I can’t hear myself. I can’t hear anything but that's the beauty of these awards." This sentiment underscores the vibrant and dynamic nature of the event, where the collective energy and enthusiasm of the industry converge to honour excellence.

The Effie India Awards are distinguished by their holistic recognition, which spans beyond industry peers to include clients and academics. This acknowledgment celebrates creativity, strategic excellence, and effectiveness from diverse viewpoints. With 1,152 entries from 75 agencies, the event underscored India’s position as the second-largest Effie market globally, in terms of participation.
