DDB MudraMax wins media mandate of Kalyan Silks

Kalyan Silks, a well known brand from Kerala, has handed over its media mandate to DDB MudraMax. The pitch saw participation from multiple agencies. The size of the account is pegged at Rs 25 crore.

The business will be handled out of DDB MudraMax office in Bangalore.

Kalyan Silks was started in 1909 in Thrissur, Kerala. Over the last century it has expanded to other cities in Kerala including Cochin, Palakkad, Calicut, Kannur and Kottayam. It also launched its first store overseas in Karama, Dubai in 2011. It has plans to expand to Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and the Gulf region.
