STAR News to start film news segment from today

STAR News has announced a new addition to its variety filled line-up. The latest one is in the form of a daily segment which will report exclusively the latest from the world of films across the country. The unique segment titled 'Kahani Puri Filmi Hain' is set to premiere on April 2. It will be aired thrice a day at 7.30 am, 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm.

The segment takes the viewer behind the scenes and reports on news from the world of Bollywood, Hollywood, Tollywood and in general the filmi duniya, offering the latest on inside gossips, film launches, on-location interviews, music launches and near real-time info on the glamorous world of films.

In gauging the needs of the audience and in catering to these needs STAR News has clearly positioned itself as the people's channel. Debuting on STAR News, Kahani Puri Filmi Hai follows closely on the heels of other highly successful programme innovations such as Sansani - the channel's popular crime-based special, Saas Bahu aur Saazish - a show which reports on the world of popular serials on television, Jaanbaaz - a bravery show and Insaaf Ka Taraazu - a law-based show, not forgetting Red Alert and Pol Khol.
