Vidya Shankar Tiwari quits Inkhabar; joins News India 24x7 as Digital Head

Senior journalist Vidya Shankar Tiwari has ended his tenure at 'Inkhabar', the digital wing of 'iTV Network'. He was performing his duties in this organization for about seven years.
He has now started his new innings with 'News India 24x7', where he has been made the digital head. Here he has been given the responsibility of presenting all the digital platforms of the group with a new look and feel. News India has recently been taken over by a new management which is focusing a lot on digital along with the channel.
Vidyashankar Tiwari, who has been the editor of 'Inkhabar' for about seven years, believes in innovation. In a journalism career spanning about 35 years, he has worked for a long time in print and then in news channels in various roles.
Vidya Shankar started his career with 'Dainik Jagran'. After this, he was the chief reporter of 'Rashtriya Sahara' and earned recognition for his reporting in Delhi-NCR. While being the chief reporter of 'Rashtriya Sahara', he joined 'Sahara Samay' news channel and learnt the tricks of electronic media. During that period, print and electronic media were brought under one roof in Sahara. He led the reporting team that played an important role in the launching of Sahara NCR channel.
After working for 11 years in 'Sahara', Vidya Shankar joined 'Amar Ujala', where he changed the style and style of local reporting as Chief Reporter-Metro Editor. Here he was made the National Bureau Chief within a year. After this, he joined 'A2Z' channel as a political editor and was made the Executive Editor within a short time. During his five-year tenure here, he was also the channel head for a few days.
According to Vidya Shankar, after leaving 'A2Z' channel, he once again turned to print media and launched the Hindi daily 'Sun Star'. As an executive editor, he played an important role in many famous sting operations including beef in five star hotels, Operation DDCA, and Manchester match fixing in collaboration with Wikileaks4India. All these three operations were very famous in the country and the world. Then he joined 'New Observer Post' as an editor and from there he went directly to 'iTV' network, where he became the editor of Inkhabar Digital and now he has ended his innings from there and has reached 'News India'.
