Online grocery giant BigBasket is set to welcome Deepika Khattar Bhan, President of Packaged Foods at Tata Consumer Products, as its newest board member, reports Moneycontrol. The report further states that this change follows the departure of Aarthi Subramanian, COO and executive director at Tata Consultancy Services, who is stepping away from her board role to assume expanded responsibilities within TCS.
With over 20 years in the industry, Bhan has held pivotal roles at Hindustan Unilever and its parent, Unilever, where she drove innovation and business transformation across diverse markets.
Just recently, the company appointed Manish Bajoria as its new Chief Financial Officer. The board also includes Saurabh Agrawal of Tata Sons, Vishal Gupta from Bessemer Venture Partners and BigBasket co-founder Vipul Parekh.
