Senior journalist Subodh Singh has stepped down from his role as Output Head at Zee News, marking the end of his latest stint with Zee Media. He was promoted to the position last year after serving as Senior Executive Producer for nearly two years. This was his third tenure with the network.

According to reports, Singh is now expected to join NDTV in a key output role. While there has been no official confirmation from either Singh or NDTV, the buzz is that his appointment may be announced soon.

Subodh Singh brings with him nearly 26 years of experience in the media industry. He has been part of the launch teams of several prominent news channels and has held leadership positions across major networks.

Singh began his journalism career in 1999 with Zee News. He later moved to Sahara, where he contributed to the launch of their news channel, before joining Aaj Tak, where he worked for an impressive 17 years.

In 2019, he returned to Zee News, then moved on to the Times Group, playing a key role in launching Times Now Navbharat. He rejoined Zee News once again after a year, making it his third term with the channel—one that has now come to a close.
