Sian Whitnall has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of OMD Australia, following her tenure as Co-CEO alongside Laura Nice. She shared the news of her new role through a LinkedIn post.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Executive Officer at OMD Australia”, the LinkedIn post read.

Whitnall has been associated with OMD Australia for over 8 years. Prior to her elevation, she held the role of Co-Chief Executive Officer alongside Laura Nice.

In her new role, Sian’s focus will be on unlocking new levels of creativity and collaboration, co-creating standout brand experiences with OMD’s clients and ensuring the comopany remains at the forefront of innovation and growth for clients.

Whitnall shared that after four years of joint leadership at OMD Australia, she will now lead the business entirely. In her message, Whitnall emphasised her commitment to deepening collaboration and building on the strong foundation that the team had established under her joint leadership.

The move is part of a broader leadership reshuffle at Omnicom Media Group Australia, with Laura Nice transitioning to become CEO of PHD Australia.
