Shibasish Sarkar has moved on from Reliance Entertainment after nearly two decades, marking his next venture with Katha Studios.
Sarkar brings over 30 years of corporate experience across films, television, animation, gaming, digital and new media. At Reliance Entertainment, he served as Group CEO and was part of the senior leadership team, while also holding board and director roles across multiple Reliance ADA Group companies.
Prior to Reliance Entertainment, Sarkar held senior positions at Viacom18, UTV Disney and Godrej Sara Lee.
Sarkar is also the Chairman and CEO of International Media Acquisition Corp.
