Procter & Gamble Co. has announced the appointment of longtime executive Shailesh Jejurikar as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026. He will succeed Jon Moeller as President and CEO.

Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, Jejurikar oversees profit and loss for P&G’s Enterprise Markets, covering Latin America, India, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe, while leading the company’s Information Technology, Global Business Services, Sales, Market Operations, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Distribution, and New Business functions.

Previously, Jejurikar headed P&G’s largest business sector, Fabric & Home Care, which includes iconic brands such as Tide, Ariel, Downy, Gain, Febreze, and Swiffer, representing about a third of the company’s total sales and net earnings. He drove industry‑leading results through innovation, supply chain excellence, brand‑building and sales.

From 2016 to 2021, he also served as executive sponsor for global sustainability, embedding P&G’s environmental and societal goals into its core business strategies. Over his extensive career, spanning multiple businesses and regions, Jejurikar has consistently delivered strong results, leveraging his deep expertise in driving brand growth locally and globally.
