Monks, the operating brand of S4 Capital, has appointed Niranjan Singh as the Head of Media for India with immediate effect.
In his new role, Singh will lead the company's media business in India, focusing on data-led strategies, innovation, and integrated marketing solutions that help clients achieve stronger business results. He will also work on expanding Monks' full-funnel media capabilities to support brands in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Singh will work closely with Ketan Desai, Managing Director of Monks India, and Sandipan Bhattacharyya, India Head – Creative, to strengthen the company's position as a full-service digital marketing partner. According to the company, the appointment reflects Monks' commitment to expanding its presence in South Asia, strengthening client relationships, and leveraging AI and advanced technology to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Welcoming Singh to the team, Fay Denis du Peage, Senior Vice President – Media, Monks APAC, said his leadership and industry experience will play an important role in enhancing the company's media capabilities in India and across the Asia-Pacific region. She added that his expertise will help clients drive growth through technology, innovation, and data-driven solutions.
Singh brings more than 18 years of experience across India and Southeast Asia. During his career, he has worked with leading global brands including P&G, FrieslandCampina, Colgate-Palmolive, GSK, LEGO, Amazon Prime Video, NIVEA, Mercedes-Benz, Kraft Heinz, and Electrolux.
Before joining Monks, he served as Head of Media for LEGO APAC and Amazon Prime Video Southeast Asia at IPG Initiative. Earlier, he held leadership roles at GroupM across India, Vietnam, and Indonesia, where he led media strategy for several major international clients.
Speaking about his appointment, Niranjan Singh said he is excited to join Monks and contribute to its AI-driven approach to marketing. He said artificial intelligence has the potential to go beyond improving efficiency by helping brands achieve meaningful business growth.
