Rohit Jawa joins Bessemer Operating Advisor Network

Rohit Jawa, former President of Unilever South Asia and CEO of Hindustan Unilever Limited, has joined Bessemer Operating Advisor Network.
His role will involve collaborating with Bessemer portfolio companies on market entry, business transformation, brand building, and leadership development.
Jawa has nearly four decades of experience at Unilever, leading significant business transformations in various countries including India, China, and the Philippines.
He played a key role in establishing China as a major market for Unilever and was recognized for his leadership in the Philippines.

Rohit Jawa, former President of Unilever South Asia and CEO & Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), has joined Bessemer Operating Advisor Network. The company shared the news of his appointment through a LinkedIn post.

The company stated that as part of Bessemer’s Operating Advisor Network, Rohit will work with Bessemer portfolio companies on market entry and growth, business transformation, brand building, go-to-market excellence, and building leadership teams across complex, multi-geography organisations.

Previously, Rohit spent nearly four decades at Unilever, most recently as President of Unilever South Asia and CEO & Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever.

Throughout his career, Rohit has led major businesses and transformations across India, China, the Philippines, Singapore, and the UK. As EVP North Asia and Chairman of Unilever China, he helped build China into one of Unilever’s most important global markets. As Chairman and CEO of Unilever Philippines, he led a widely recognized business transformation and growth journey.
