Rajarshi Guin has been appointed as Vice President - Home & Furniture at Flipkart. The company shared the news of his appointment through a LinkedIn post. “We’re excited to announce the arrival of Rajarshi Guin, who joins us as Vice President, Home & Furniture”, the LinkedIn post read.
In his new role, Rajarshi will be spearheading business growth across categories - bringing deeper insights and driving execution rigour to drive higher growth.
He joins Flipkart from Amazon, where he played a pivotal role in launching and shaping the journey of its India marketplace. He was with Amazon for over 14 years, where he last held the role of Director, Category Management, Media.
At Amazon, he built, scaled, and led diverse businesses, including private labels, books, toys, personal care appliances, and more. He is known for his expertise in scaling businesses through various stages of growth and combining business acumen, technology, and people leadership to deliver growth and profitability milestones.
In his career spanning over 18 years, Rajarshi has specialized in e-commerce and held several leadership roles across category management, seller services, customer service and CX, and returns / recommerce.
