It's the last day at the India Today Group for Rahul Kanwal, who has resigned from the post of News Director of India Today Group and Executive Director of Business Today.

In a meeting of the Board of Directors of NDTV held on 25 April 2025, it was decided that Rahul Kanwal would be appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV. This appointment will be effective from 16 June 2025, but final approval is yet to be received from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Kanwal is a well-known name in the world of journalism, who has more than 25 years of experience in this field. Till now he was working as News Director in 'India Today' and 'Aaj Tak' and has also been the Executive Director of 'Business Today'. Apart from this, he has played senior editorial roles in organizations like 'Headlines Today' and 'Zee News'.
