Prasanna Raghav, Senior Vice President and Head of Branded Content at Associated Broadcasting Company Pvt Ltd (TV9 Network), has stepped down from his role, marking the end of nearly six years with the organisation.
Sources close to this development have confirmed the news to e4m.
Raghav, who joined TV9 in 2020 as Vice President and Head of Branded Content, played a central role in building and strengthening the network’s branded content and native advertising ecosystem. Over the years, he worked at the intersection of editorial thinking and content marketing, helping shape a consultative, content-led sales approach within the news network. He was elevated to Senior Vice President in April 2024.
During his stint, he was closely involved across the branded content value chain, from designing communication strategies for partner brands at the pre-sales stage to execution and post-sales servicing, working with a diverse portfolio that included government bodies, corporates and multinational brands. Industry insiders credit him as part of the team that drove several early innovations in content-commerce integration within the broadcast news space.
Before joining TV9, Raghav held multiple senior leadership roles at Zee Group. At Zee Media Corporation Limited, he served as Deputy Vice President, Strategy, where he led revenue strategy for the news network and DNA, incubated branded content as a new revenue stream, and worked closely with the Group CEO’s office on business planning, regulatory and operational initiatives. Earlier, at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, he led the Innovation Studio, focusing on content-led brand solutions and new advertising formats.
Raghav began his career in journalism, holding editorial positions at The Times of India and The Indian Express and also worked as a reporter with Oman Tribune.
e4m did not get any response from the management despite repeated attempts.
