Cesc Bordas, who was with PepsiCo for 33 years, has announced his retirement. He last held the role of SVP - Global Brands Sustainability & Purpose at the company.
In a LinkedIn post, Cesc Bordas stated that he is retiring to pursue his personal passions and take care of businesses in Barcelona, his hometown.
“After 33 years in PepsiCo, tomorrow Friday, June 13th will be my last working day in the company. It’s a very emotional moment for me, as you can imagine. I joined PepsiCo for its amazing brands and the exciting career opportunities it offered, but the main reason why I stayed for so long was always its people. Like many others said before me, the people of PepsiCo are truly special and that’s why it’s hard to leave this company. Harder than I ever anticipated”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.
He further expressed gratitude to the ones he worked and learned over the years. “Heart-felt thanks to everyone I worked with and learned from -internal colleagues and external partners. I am grateful that many of you have become friends forever”, he stated.
