- Pankajj Rai has resigned from his position as Senior Vice President – Ad Sales at Huella, effective immediately.
- His promotion to this role was announced in March 2026, where he had national oversight of the company's product portfolio, including NEXad, NewsroomAI, and AIgnite.
- The leadership change coincides with Huella's plans to establish a base in Singapore for its expansion into Southeast Asia.
- Rai joined Huella in July 2025 as Vice President – Ad Sales, bringing over 18 years of experience in broadcast and digital media from previous roles at WION, Zee Media, and Qyou Media.
Pankajj Rai has quit Huella, where he was serving as Senior Vice President – Ad Sales, India.
Rai’s elevation to the role was announced in March 2026, giving him national oversight across the company’s product portfolio. The leadership change accompanied Huella’s announcement of a Singapore base for its expansion into Southeast Asia. His remit covered NEXad, its interactive connected television offering, alongside NewsroomAI and AIgnite.
Huella had announced Rai’s appointment as Vice President – Ad Sales in July 2025. His responsibilities included monetisation for Newsroom AI and working with the founders on partnerships, product positioning and market strategy.
Rai brought more than 18 years of experience in broadcast and digital media to the company. Before Huella, he served as Business Head for WION and Zee Business at Zee Media and as National Sales Head at Qyou Media. His earlier experience also included commercial responsibilities for Zee TV, Zee Cinema and Zee Bollywood across North and East India.
