Renowned journalist Pankaj Kapahi has officially ended his stint with News18, where he held the position of Assistant News Editor. Kapahi has now joined Living India News as the Political Editor.
With extensive experience in the media industry, Kapahi was associated with Zee Media from 2010 to 2017. During this time, he was based in Delhi and covered political developments in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, along with reporting on parliamentary affairs and central government policies impacting these states.
In 2017, he joined News18 in Delhi and, starting in 2020, operated out of Chandigarh, covering key developments related to the Punjab government. His on-ground reporting has included major events such as the farmers’ protest, Delhi riots and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Throughout his career, Kapahi has provided in-depth, grassroots-level coverage of the Punjab Assembly elections in 2012, 2017, and 2022, as well as the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, 2019 and 2024. He has also interviewed several prominent political figures including Rahul Gandhi, CM Bhagwant Mann, former CM Captain Amarinder Singh, among others.
