Television journalist Osama Shaab has announced his departure from NDTV, where he served for 11 years, sharing the news via a video posted on social media.
Shaab wrote in the caption of his post:
After 11 unforgettable years, I’m finally signing off from @ndtv .. a place that’s been so much more than just a workplace. It’s where I grew up (professionally and personally), learned the art of storytelling, survived breaking-news marathons, lived on caffeine and chaos, and met some of the most incredible people who turned into family.
From nights that went on forever, to newsroom laughter that made it all worth it.. every frame, every story, every rundown will stay with me.
Thank you to everyone who made this journey special.. colleagues, mentors, friends who saved my scripts my sanity.
It’s the end of an era, but not the end of the story. #ndtv

Before joining NDTV, Shaab worked as Creative Director at Z&Z Media Productions Private Limited, although his tenure there lasted only 11 months. He has also worked with Hats Off Productions and Optimystix Entertainment India Pvt Ltd.
Shaab’s reasons for leaving NDTV and his next career move are currently not known.
