NP Singh, former MD & CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India, and Bharat N Anand, Vice Provost for Advances in Learning at Harvard University, have joined JioStar as Independent Directors, e4m has learnt.
Singh has been in the broadcast industry for over 4 decades and spent 25 years at SPNI itself.
Professor Anand is an expert in digital strategy, media and entertainment strategy, corporate strategy, and organisational change.
Their appointments come at a time when JioStar is consolidating its position as a major force in the media and entertainment ecosystem.
Meanwhile, JioStar has recorded a subscriber base of 287 million on JioHotstar for the IPL period and reached over 800 million people via TV in the same timespan.
