Wavemaker China CEO Jose Campon has decided to move on from the company. He took to LinkedIn and announced his departure.
In a long post, Campon said that he will now take a break and spend some quality time with his kids and loved ones and prepare for what’s next.
Campon joined Wavemaker in January 2021.
“So, the day has come… After almost 4 years, it is time to move on to the next chapter and say farewell to Wavemaker China. And what 4 years... ‘What a ride’ doesn’t even begin to describe them. Navigating covid, lockdowns, the economic uncertainty and headwinds that came after… Maybe not decades happening in weeks, as Lenin said, but certainly feels like decades happening in these 4 years. I’ve never learnt and grew so much, so quickly”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.
Prior to joining Wavemaker, Jose Campon was with Dentsu for 2 years as Client President.
Jose Campon is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in media and marketing. In his previous stints, Jose Campon has worked with iProspect, China International Publishing House, Google among others.
