India Today Group has announced the appointment of senior journalist and Harvard-certified nutritionist Sonal Mehrotra Kapoor to lead its health and wellness omni-platform brand.
Bringing with her over 17 years of experience in journalism, Kapoor has worked with several of the country’s leading media houses in roles such as storyteller, editor, and on-screen anchor. Kapoor joins India Today after a three-and-a-half-year stint at Moneycontrol, where she served as an editor. Before that, she spent nearly 12 years at NDTV
In her new role, she will report to B.V. Rao and collaborate closely with Supriya Prasad on special initiatives.
India Today Group said in an official statement: “We are thrilled to welcome Sonal Mehrotra Kapoor, who joins us to lead the creation of a first-of-its-kind integrated health and wellness omni-platform brand in the country. This platform will deliver health-related information, services, and content across all media formats.”
