Henrique Braun to succeed James Quincey as Coca-Cola CEO

  • Henrique Braun, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will become CEO of The Coca-Cola Company on March 31, 2026, succeeding James Quincey.

The Coca-Cola Company has announced that Henrique Braun, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will take over as Chief Executive Officer on March 31, 2026. He will succeed James Quincey, who will move into the role of Executive Chairman after completing nine years as CEO.
 
The company’s board also shared that Braun, who is 57, will be nominated for election to Coca-Cola’s Board of Directors at the 2026 annual general meeting.
 
Quincey, 60, will step aside from the CEO position but will remain actively involved with the company. Commenting on the transition, David Weinberg, Lead Independent Director at Coca-Cola, said that Quincey has been a highly impactful leader who set a clear strategic direction and strengthened the company’s global standing. He added that in his new role as Executive Chairman, Quincey will continue to play an important role. Weinberg also expressed confidence that Braun will build on the company’s strong base, unlock new growth opportunities and further reinforce the Coca-Cola system worldwide.
