  • Deepak Choudhary has been elected President of the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) for the 2026–28 term following national elections.

The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) has elected Deepak Choudhary as its President for the 2026–28 term following the conclusion of the industry's national elections.

The newly elected National Executive Council will represent stakeholders across India's events, experiential marketing, entertainment and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sectors. The council will focus on industry advocacy, strengthening member engagement, driving innovation and fostering greater collaboration across regions.

Mahavir Sharma has been elected Executive Vice President, while Vinod Janardhan will serve as General Secretary. Hareesh Babu P. B. has been named Secretary and Vipul Agarwal will take over as Treasurer.

The regional leadership team comprises Harshal Kothari as Vice President–West, Vipul Pandhi as Vice President–North, Saroj Mallia as Vice President–East and R. Ramkumar as Vice President–South.

Among the regional office-bearers, Nehal H. Shah has been elected Joint Secretary–West, Naveen Gupta as Joint Secretary–North and Vishnu Muchhal as Joint Secretary–East. Manaswini Saraswati and Anup Joy have been elected Committee Members representing the East and South regions, respectively.

EEMA said members from across the country participated in the elections to choose the association's national office-bearers and regional representatives. The newly elected council will guide the association's agenda as it works to address the evolving needs of India's expanding events and experiential industry.
