Ashit Kukian has quit as the Chief Executive Officer of Music Broadcast Limited (Radio City), a role he has held since September 2018, sources told e4m. During his seven-year tenure, Kukian guided Radio City through a rapidly evolving and highly competitive audio entertainment market, driving innovation, expanding audience reach, and strengthening the network’s overall brand presence.

Kukian is a media veteran with over three decades of experience spanning radio, print, television, and outdoor media. Prior to his stint at Radio City, he served as COO-NewsX & CRO-Non News at iTV Network from May 2017 to September 2018, overseeing operations and revenue strategy. Between November 2015 and May 2017, he was President-Revenue at Times Network, responsible for revenue growth across multiple platforms.

Kukian’s earlier experience includes a decade as President & Chief Operating Officer of Radio City (2005–2015), where he played a pivotal role in shaping the network’s programming and operational strategies. Before that, he spent nearly 13 years at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group) as Regional Head (1992–2005), building regional media operations and sales capabilities. His career also includes involvement in initiatives like TadioCity.in, an AA Jagran collaboration that blended radio with digital content to engage audiences in innovative ways.

Known for his results-driven approach, Kukian has consistently focused on building strong cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence, and balancing business performance with creativity.
