Colors continues to lead urban market, Sab TV’s Taraak Mehta grabs second spot: BARC week 8

Star Bharat continued to lead the overall GEC market (U+R) with 754202 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol on second slot with 713606 million impressions and Sony Pal on third with 679385 million impressions, according to BARC Week 8 ratings.

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya garnered first position with 12814 million impressions followed by Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya on second and third spots with 12441 million impressions and 10903 million impressions respectively. Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya bagged fourth spot with 9971 million impressions. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus stood on number five with 9720 million impressions.

Zee TV and Colors stood on number four and five with 565898 million impressions and 552352 million impressions respectively. 





Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to lead the rural market with 561499 million impressions followed by Sony Pal on second position with 456952 million impressions and Star Utsav on third with 385643 million impressions.

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya led the top five programme list with 10656 million impressions followed by Sony Pal’s Baalveer and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on second and third with 7251 million impressions and 6600 million impressions. Zee Anmol’ s Jamai Raja was on fourth spot with 6361 million impressions and CID on Sony Pal bagged the fifth spot with 6323 million impressions.

Star Bharat and Rishtey grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 384804 million impressions and 342084 million impressions respectively. 




Hindi GEC Urban

Colors garnered the leadership position in urban market in week 8 of BARC with 399880 million impressions. Star Bharat maintained its second position with 369397 million impressions followed by Star Plus on third spot with 362844 million impressions and Zee TV on fourth with 341273 million impressions.

Zee TV Kundalu Bhagya bagged the first slot with 7713 million impressions followed by Sab TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on second slot with 6975 million impressions and Star Plus Yeh Hai Mohabbatein on third with 6850 million impressions. Zee TV Kumkum Bhagya and Colors’ Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki grabbed fourth and fifth slots with 6640 million impressions and 5728 million impressions respectively.

Sony Entertainment Television stood on number five with 321253 million impressions.
