Vivek Law to join Bloomberg UTV as Editor
Vivek Law, National Editor, CNBC TV 18, has called it quits to join Bloomberg UTV as Editor according to reliable industry sources. Law assumes his new role from November 1, 2010 and will be based out of Mumbai.

Vivek Law, National Editor, CNBC TV 18, has called it quits to join Bloomberg UTV as Editor according to reliable industry sources. He will primarily be responsible to lead the editorial function across verticals and will work closely with top management to drive the channel to the leadership position. His extremely strong business news experience will add a cutting edge to the already sharp and innovative business channel. Law assumes his new role from November 1, 2010 and will be based out of Mumbai.
Bloomberg UTV has made this appointment to fill the vacant spot after Govindraj Ethiraj’s exit. Govindraj Ethiraj, Editor-in-Chief, Bloomberg UTV, had quit few months back to join the government special project UIDAI. Ethiraj was one of the founding members of the channel in 2006. Bloomberg and UTV had announced their merger in September last year to form Bloomberg UTV.
Vivek Law comes with a varied experience. Prior to this he was Editor, Consumer Affairs, where he did shows across personal finance, real estate, economic crime, consumer grievances and small and medium enterprises. Law has 15 years experience in journalism and has worked with India Today, Economic Times, Business Standard and The Financial Express.
