Vice India to be launched on 2nd April

Springtide Infotainment Media, the joint venture between American news brand, Vice Media and the Times Group is all set to launch Vice India on 2nd April, 2018. Hosi Simon, CEO, Vice Media, Asia Pacific, has announced today in Mumbai, that the launch of Vice India will cover all areas from a digital studio, to a production hub.
Vice Media has collaborated with the Times Group to launch the youth TV channel Viceland (under a different name) in India, and it will feature a combination of local and international content geared at targeting the millennial audience. In addition to TV, this joint venture is also set to produce and distribute local programming for online and mobile.
The collaboration will also see Vice opening a new office in Delhi and production hub in Mumbai and creating original content will be distributed across television, mobile, digital and linear platforms in the region.
