TV Today Network’s Q4 net profit stands at Rs 6.15 crore

TV Today Network has posted a net profit of Rs 6.15 crore in the quarter ending March 31, 2025, down from Rs 11.46 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.
However, the company's total income for this quarter stands at Rs 261.25 crore up from last year's Rs 256.47 crore.
The media company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 74.53 crore in FY25, up from Rs 56.38 crore in the previous year.
The board approved the closure and sale of its FM Radio operations, which reported a FY25 loss after tax of Rs 7.89 crore on revenue of Rs 14.16 crore.
The company’s total income for the year stood at Rs 1,038.73 crore with the television and digital media business remaining the primary revenue driver, contributing Rs 993.02 crore.
Other income rose to Rs 45.71 crore, supported by strong treasury operations.
The company reported net cash from operations of Rs 121.59 crore, a sharp increase from Rs 15.11 crore in FY24.
The board also approved the appointment of DMK Associates as the new Secretarial Auditor for a five-year term starting FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. The statutory auditors, S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP, issued an unmodified audit opinion on the FY25 financials.
Chairman and Whole Time Director Aroon Purie reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening its core media offerings and unlocking value from underperforming segments. “The strategic divestment of the radio business allows us to sharpen our focus and deploy resources more effectively,” he said in a statement following the board meeting.
