Sanjay Pugalia of CNBC Awaaz, Hindi business channel from Network 18 group, won News Television Editor-in-Chief of the Year- Hindi. “This award highlights how business genre is becoming the mainstream and has become a product of mass consumption. Media in this country has developed in terms of technology, but there is still a challenge in content and good journalism. The most important thing is to restore good journalism and the changing scenario of media platform. Technology has made it even more challenging. Business journalism needs to be kept alive in the mainstream media, whether print or television,” said Pugalia, Editor-in-Chief of CNBC Awaaz and CNBC Bazaar.
