Network Ten has dropped Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston for the 12th season of MasterChef Australia to be aired next year, as per media reports.

This comes soon after an announcement from the network that it would support Calombaris who has faced a $200,000 fine for underpaying workers.

The broadcaster has now said it has not been able to reach an agreement with the three judges.

Network Ten Chief Executive Officer Paul Anderson has been quoted as saying that Mehigan, Calombaris and Preston will not be returning since they have been unable to reach a commercial agreement.

“Despite months of negotiation, Ten has not been able to reach a commercial agreement that was satisfactory to Matt, Gary and George,“ a media report quoted Anderson.
