The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has ordered a stay on the broadcast of Tamil reality television show Solvathellam Unmai till June 18, according to media reports.

The stay was ordered by the division bench comprising justices M V Muralidaran and T Krishnavalli on a petition filed by Virudhunagar resident R S Kalyanasundaram, the reports stated.

In his plea, Kalyanasundaram reportedly alleged that the show intrudes in the private lives of people.

Launched in 2011, the show discusses issues in family relationships. Both sides debate the problem at the show and the host helps them find an acceptable solution.
